Welcome & Aloha!

The Shiatsu & Massage Center in Honolulu – Where fingers give meaning to life.

Our salon in The Waikiki Beach Walk features ample elbow room for eight massage tables. Each room is elegant and spacious. You will enjoy the high ceiling, lots of leg room and custom fine wood interior, with candles centered above floating orchids.

The massage tables are lush with silky sheets on top of heated water pads. Our Tempur-Pedic face cradles remove any facial tension. With soothing music ranging from Hawaiian to new age sitar blends, you are ready for a perfectly nuanced massage tailored just for you.

Private rooms & couples rooms

Enjoy your massages together in the same spacious room in Honolulu!  The price for a couples massage is the same as the individual price for two people.  Our couples rooms are available by request, without any additional charge.  Just request one of our couples rooms, and you’re set.

Company bio

Dennis received a BA in dance from UH Manoa and, from 1992 to 2007 he performed a form of modern dance based on meditation with the Iona Contemporary Dance Theatre. With the spiritual aspects of meditation training and Iyengar Yoga classes, he created his own style of Shiatsu and Swedish massage, which he loves teaching to therapists and the public.

Together with Petula Miller they created Spa Pure in the Courtyard Hotel in April, 2008. The salon features floating massages in warm salt pools and 570 pound granite slabs heated up under herbal steam domes. For them, Spa Pure represents the most wonderful spa treatments they could imagine.

Yoga is still part of Dennis’ life. He teaches Beach and Park yoga twice a day, seven days a week, and has maintained that schedule since January 1, 2007.

Now, with a large massage salon with 8 massage tables in a setting Dennis chose and is thrilled by, he enjoys watching the happiness of 20 to 50 people per day who receive treatments at the Shiatsu & Massage Center. “One of my greatest happiness’s is seeing the people who love the service they receive from our therapists. I love seeing their response and I love seeing them return year after year.”
